Shaping Your Basket

We are thrilled for you to receive your new Yourbub basket. Designed with clean lines and natural materials, it is crafted to be a beautiful, functional addition to your home.

Because of the natural flexibility of the fibers, your basket may occasionally shift out of its structured form during transit. Restoring its perfect shape is a simple, straightforward process.

The Yourbub Moses Basket

We carefully shape every Moses basket before it leaves our facility. If it develops a kink or crease during shipping, you can easily restore its even, minimal form:

• Prepare: If you purchased the basket as a gift, please remove all tags before beginning.

• Hydrate: Apply warm water specifically to the areas of the basket that need reshaping.

• Mold: Place the basket on a firm, flat surface and gently hand-mold the fibers back into an even, symmetrical shape.

• Dry: Allow the basket to dry completely in a well-ventilated area before reattaching tags or putting it to use.

The Yourbub Market Basket

To optimize shipping, our Market Baskets are sent unshaped. To achieve their final form, follow these steps:

• Soak: Wet the entire surface of the basket evenly with warm water. A large sink or bathtub is the ideal workspace for this step.

• Absorb: Allow the water to fully soak into the material. This makes the natural fibers highly pliable and easy to work with.

• Shape: Shake off any excess water. Place the basket on a flat surface, push the sides outward, and gently roll it out to define its structure.

• Dry: The shaping process only takes a few minutes, but please ensure the basket is 100% dry before its first use.
